Let's start deporting illegals to Venezuela!

Hugo Chavez wants to help the indigenous people. He has all that oil to share. Here in los Estados Unidos, we are so mean and cruel to the illegals. We gringos are such evil racists. I know they don't really want to come and live here in this dreadful country among these awful people.

I say let's encourage illegals to emigrate to Venezuela, instead of the US! They will be so much happier there, under Marxist rule, where everyone shares the wealth. They already speak the national language.

We must make up pamphlets in Spanish, telling the illegals of the wonders and glories Venezuela has to offer them. Whenever the INS picks up illegals they should give them a Venezuelan chamber of commerce packet. We could recommend that the next time they decide to emigrate they should head south, not north. I know President Chavez will be very happy to take them in.

I hope you can live forever with your pink blog and your confortable house in California, that you wont have to see how your home is falling down and you have to run somewhere else taking your painful memories inside. I also hope, despiting of your political stances, you stop considering inmigrants as some product you can send to any territory with some space, they are people like you. I can see you tried to make a joke, with a twist of irony. Im agree with some random thoughs behind that joke. But they are some things like human dignity, that are not funny at all.
PS: Sorry about my english, is not my native language

It's the mexican government and the mexican people's fault their country is crappy. They are not children and need to stop looking to the US to solve their problems.

California once was part of Mexico, Texas too... so is not completly their fault... if a mexican boy borns right now, should he carry all the mistakes from the previous generations? And you, US people believe in equal oportunities, or at least thats what your law system says... i guess equal oportunities only for the US people...and lets not sing the Kyoto protocol ,and let the rest of the world scrub up alone, why not? Thats individualism, one of the things i admire for better of for worse of your country

The Spanish took this country by war and we won it from them by war. The Mexicans stole it from the Indians in the first place. They played the game and lost.

You and your people carry the blood and speak the language of the conquistadores, what makes you any less of an oppressor? Your ancestors slaughtered the Indians.

I do not come to your country and work for less money and no benefits, so that employers want to hire me instead of Venezuelans.

Nor do I use your tax payers dollars and have 7 children who do really bad in school and get pregnant by my uncle and collect welfare.

I am not going to join a gang in Venezuela and shoot up the neighborhood and park a bunch of cars on my lawn and paint graffiti all over your cars and buildings.

Many latin immigrants need to be taken care of like children their whole lives. There are so many advocacy groups dedicated to taking care of Latinos, it's pathetic. The are not children and they need to take care of them selves in their own countries. If Chavez can help Mexicans he should.

Each illegal immigrant from Mexico costs $7,000 per year, immigrants from China and Europe add over a $1,000 dollars per year to this country and their kids do well in school and become employed. If I have to choose, I am not going to choose latinos.

Miss C, Bravo! Corina the Mexican government invited the Americans to colonize Texas because the Mexicans did not want to. As soon as the Americans wanted to have fair representation in the Mexican
Congress the Mexicans decided to chase out the colonists and take the land and all of the improvements. We fought a war for our independence. Texas does not belong to Mexico any more than Mexico belongs to Spain. If you do not like it go back to your own country and try to make it better
instead of complaining about America and our laws.

I must add only one thing before i run of this etnocentrist blog
1. I live in my own country and i hope i can live there forever, although political and no economical reasons might make go beyond my boarders. And i have to choose where to go instead of my country, USA is not on my list
And thats it, i dont argue with people that let their patriotism lose their senses. If you wanna run of the inmigrants trouble, and pretend it doesnt exist. If you wanna run of the hispanic world and keep invading other countries pretending everyone loves the US when is quite the opposite. Go ahead, as a result, you are going to keep seeing hispanic gangs around your neighboor and more military spends for your country.
Or you can try to understand their trouble and negociate. Will cost less money (im working on the fact that all you guys think is the money). But its your guys choice. I dont live there. I live in Caracas until the goverment knocks at my door telling me that i can only teach Marx in class

corina,

You really don't get it. Most do not want to stop immigration. They want to stop "ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION".

There is a huge difference.

Im quite aware they are talking about its illegal inmigration Jack... but dont you see... that some people just have to get out of their countries, legally or not?
Im not against illegal inmigration limits, im just against some limits and prejudices that comes into the US culture

Corina you just don't get it. I'm not speaking from predjudice or misplaced nationalism. It is not our job to take care of the rest of the world. You do not live here yet you think that you have a right to tell us what to do. You need to worry about your own people and your own country. We
are a generous nation but we have our limits. Instead of using veiled insults towards us because we disagree with you, try to be a bit more objective and see that our point of view is valid and reasonable. Here in Texas our public health system is on the brink of collapse because of illegal immigrants. My property taxes increase every year yet my income does not. I and many others can not keep footing the bill for all of these people as we have our own families to take care of. What do you do to help people more unfortunate than yourself? What does your country do? We tithe at church, we give to charities,we volunteer our time to help others.
What do you do, besides lecture us?

Texas... how many times do i have to tell you that i dont live neither in Mexico or the US... this whole argue starts because my country was involved in the first place as some sort of "solution" to the inmigrants issue. I didnt like the way the topic was treated, cause in my terms, despiting on what they cause, using terms as "lets deporting them to Venezuela, send messages so they can go to south instead of north..." etc... its against human dignity. Im just trying to say that deporting all the ilegals, and building a barrier is not the best way to solve the trouble, talk about all the problems the inmigrants cause life those effects in your incomes is not going to solve the trouble... but you will see it, once that barrier its all done, the problem will remain the same. What do i do? I cant do nothing, except talk, cause im not there. Do i have the right to talk? Well, i guess you could try to see the perspective of the people who sees the trouble from the outside. What do i do to help people more infortunate than myself? I wont make a list of charity works, i live in a very poor country, a political polarized one for make things worse, so it takes more than charity for work here... Im trying, im not going to be as selfcentered to say im actually making the difference cause im not. I respect your point of view, i know how this affects you personaly. But until you dont look beyond that, you wont see a solution that could benefit both: you and the ilegals. One more thing, you said "It is not our job to take care of the rest of the world"- i guess many political leaders of your country think different, or maybe they only "care of the rest of the world" when its convenient to theirselves. Im not an "antiamerican" girl, im not a "pro-mexicans"; but theres a distance betwen cultures that worries me, people that just care about their own troubles and dont sit for a minute and try to understand others. There a world out there Texas, and ok, you dont have to take care of it, but you could at least, try not to hurt it.

Corina I am well aware that you are from Venezuela. You continue to state that I can not see the big picture. I see the big picture fine thank you. Your country has
almost unlimited resources yet your people and government have managed to do nothing. Your latest leader Chavez has made it his job to undermine the governments of other south and centeral American nations. Your leader spends almost half of your national budget on both weapons and political subversion and coericion. I am quite tired of your rediculous one track lecture.
Your country is poor because your people have children that they cannot afford. When a family has 5 or 6 children without having the means to support those children poverty is the end result. I will say again it is not our duty to take care of the rest of the world.
We owe you nothing yet we still help. I am not telling you to shut up, I am telling you to stop whining and demanding that we take care of every single poor person that wishes to come here. We do our best but we will not allow the rest of the world to dictate our policies. Your solution is not viable, all that it will do is drag our standard of living down to yours and you know that. And the post "Lets start deporting illegals to Venezuela" was done in jest by Miss C.. I wish you well in Venezeula but your viewpoint about the Kyoto treaty is incorrect we will not sign a climate treaty specifically designed to destroy our economy while the largest polluters which are China and India refuse to sign
and abide by the same restrictions. One more thing my family lived in Caracas from 1954 to 1959 so I know a bit about your country and I am sad to say that it has not changed.

Texas is right. Also it is very hypocritical for Corina to talk about the Kyoto treaty when she knows that the only resource Venezuela has(other than much plastic surgeried beauty contestants) is oil. They have to sell the oil to help their people. But every gallon of oil will make global warming worse, whether the US signs onto Kyoto or not. I still think Chavez should sell as much oil as he wants, because he is the president of Venezuela and is expected to act in his own countries interest.
